The Gourmet Jar, a premium food manufacturing brand based in Noida, is currently utilizing the Odoo Custom plan for 5 users. While a partial setup has been completed, several operational gaps remain across sales, manufacturing, inventory, HR, and finance.
Recommendation: Fresh Setup on Odoo.sh After a thorough technical review of the current partial setup, we strongly advise proceeding with a fresh implementation rather than attempting to fix the existing configuration. The Odoo engineering team has also advised us that trying to untangle a structurally complex partial setup is highly prone to lingering errors and cascading failures. We value our relationship with you immensely, and we want to be completely transparent: attempting to "patch" the current database would likely result in a frustrating experience for your team and could ultimately spoil our partnership. A fresh, clean setup guarantees a stable, scalable foundation.
Furthermore, to accommodate your specific requirements—such as Ship Perfecto API integration, complex Indian payroll rules (PF/ESIC), automated E-waybills, and Post Dated Cheque (PDC) management—moving from Odoo Online to Odoo.sh is mandatory.
